Between Antofagasta and Copiaipa I met up with an Aussie, Frank, that I previously met in Quito. He has been on the road for 8 years and is now on the final stage before flying back to Papua New Guinea. Within the next week Chile will go to the polls so there is lots of publicity for the candidates. This cardboard politician has no substance and is faceless. No change there then!
I have been looking at whether to catch the ferry down to southern Chile. The scenery is better than that I will see if I ride but it feels a bit like cheating. So Maisey it is!
