Chilean Customs were on strike and not letting anyone through the border. Fortunately they were letting motorcycles through since they were heading for the Paris-Dakar Rally which was good for the image of Chile.

Back to La Paz, Bolivia
I had the parts fitted to Maizie and then headed for the Bolivian/Chilean Border. I stayed in a really bad hotel but at least Maisie was comfortable.
Chilean Customs were on strike and not letting anyone through the border. Fortunately they were letting motorcycles through since they were heading for the Paris-Dakar Rally which was good for the image of Chile.
