Having slept well and had Kenny prepare scrambled eggs for us it was time to leave this idyllic location and continue towards Rio de Janeiro.
What a ride!!! Jungle on one side, the Atlantic Ocean on the other, fantastic beaches, smooth tarmac, sweeping bends, no traffic and Daisy sounding sweet.
Fan bloody tastic! Even getting into Rio was a doddle and I now wished I had bought a GPS.
We met up with Mick and his Chilean girlfriend Lilly. Mick and Ian had ridden through West Africa together last year and he was now doing the South America bit but got waylaid by a woman in Santiago. Consequently his progress had stopped. He did not seem to be complaining though.
