So today we actually managed to leave Rio and its Black Hole. Buzios was our destination, a beach town about 250km to the east. As we rode into town we were flagged down by another bike which turned out to be an Africa Twin (for the educated ones amongst you) being ridden by Carlos and his wife Ele pillion. They are 2 Brazilians who had been living in Wembley for 12 years and had been on the road in South America for 
another 2. Apparently it had taken them 2 hours to find available accommodation the previous day so we were beaming from ear to ear when there were beds available, well one anyway, in their posada. Since I am the old man of the team I got the bed. Who said that 'age doesn't pay'? We headed to the beach where I worked on fat removal and the guys frolicked in the sea.
